We will return to Thimphu for lunch at our hotel.

In the early afternoon, we will drive up above the capital to the 3140 metre Dochu La. This pass has 108 chortens surrounded by forests full of colourful prayer flags and we will have the time to wander among them before spending the night just below the pass.
