bhutan may 2011 - booking & prices

23 day itinerary
costs

I have designed this trip to find a balance between comfort and cost. You can do the above itinerary in a shorter time and with more people in each vehicle but I wanted to give us as comfortable and enjoyable a trip as possible while keeping the duration manageable.

The cost of the 23 day trip will be:
* U.S. Dollars - US$6160 (six thousand, one hundred and sixty US dollars)

Please note that our prices are subject to foreign exchange rates and their fluctuations. Although we will make every effort to maintain these prices as above, we reserve the right to adjust them up to the date of final payment in order to fairly reflect any significant changes in international exchange rates that may occur.

You will have to arrive in Kathmandu by making your own arrangements.

The above price includes the Kathmandu-Paro-Kathmandu flight, all airport transfers, all visas and permits for Bhutan, an English-speaking guide in Bhutan, monastery entrance fees, sightseeing as per the itinerary, all lodging, breakfast when staying in Kathmandu and all meals in Bhutan. It also includes the back-up crew for our trek including cooks, helpers, porters, horses and drivers for the vehicles.

It does not include Nepal entry visa costs and personal expenses such as laundry, postage and drinks, travel and health insurances, emergency evacuation, tips and gratuities and any costs arising from unforeseen events outside the control of the tour company (eg landslides/bad weather).

conclusion
A fortuitous set of circumstances first brought me to Bhutan and I absolutely loved the country from the first moment I arrived. I hope the above has given you a good idea of what this May 2011 journey to Bhutan will consist of and I really hope that some of you who read this will be able to come on the journey. It is a very special one.
